Perspective Night – Eiffel Tower took a long time.  It was one of my first monuments.  In the beginning, I worked for a long time trying to get the depth and look of the cross bars just right.  I worked on it for over a year in between paintings.  It has to be my favorite painting, as well as places to be. I remember being at the ticket office in the summer and thinking how long the line was… but what a view!
