I love the desert. Its more than just sand and sun. It’s teaming with life, and watching an electrical storm in the desert is magical. Desert lightning can be seen for miles and miles. Here is a representation of one such event. This was my first attempt at creating lightning on canvas. It took a number of tries using various methods. I plan on doing more similar paintings in the future.
